    This is yet another CD featuring the musical work od David "D-Funk" Faulk.
    Mr. Faulk is more commonly known as the musician from Big Boy Records who played all of the instruments on all of the releases and received little or no credit and wasn't even paid any royalties for the musical production and performances he created and performed on every Big Boy Records release.
    In our studies of New Orleans-based hip-hop and rap music (as well as other musical styles throughout the southern and south-eastern areas), we have concluded that - although he may never receive the proper credit nor royalties rightly due to him - Mr. David "D-Funk" Faulk, in our opinion, played a major role in the creation of not only the Big Boy Records "sound" but of being a huge inspiration for other producers in their own musical styles. Truly, he is one of the greatest influential talents to come along in the hip-hop genre yet to this day, receives little to no recognition for the immense amount of originality found within his musical writing, performing and production.
    We invite you, the listener, to listen to these albums once again - To listen to the musical performances, the artistry and musicianship behind every guitar lick, bass-line, piano and keyboard chord progression, the synthesizer melodies and more. Then, dear listener - listen to the work of Leroy "Precise" Edwards pre-1993 and post-1997. Lastly, take a listen to any of the solo music production work of David "D-Funk" Faulk throughout those years and through the present time. We believe you too will not only hear and recognize the immense amount of creativity for which Mr. Faulk receives no credit or royalty payments for to this very day, but you will also be given a special gift of being one of the few people who know the truth concerning the history of hip-hop and rap music from New Orleans that helped influence so many other producers, artists and record labels thereafter.
    David has spent his entire life practicing and learning a number of various music instruments for the sheer love and enjoyment of playing. His artistry, talents and abilities of which he worked so hard at perfecting and developing throughout his life have been improperly attributed to someone who DOES NOT and CANNOT play the guitar, bass, piano, etc. yet enjoys all of the benefits that have come from David's musical gift as well as his many years of practice to become the musical virtuoso we believe him to be and wish for the rest of the world to also see. Someone else enjoys 100% of the credit, the royalties, the fame and admiration for things he did not even do and this, friends - is a sad display of greed and self-admiration.
    We will continue to shout the praises of Mr. David "D-Funk" Faulk and implore the public to listen intently, make their own comparisons and reveal the truth concerning the creation of so much of the music they have loved for so many years.
